My first major finding!

Exciting news—I just had my first major breakthrough! While working on a project, I received a call today from a whistleblower at the company I was auditing. They mentioned that they were quitting and provided me with the documentation I had been searching for to connect the dots in my findings. It turns out there’s concrete evidence of deceptive and misleading reports being submitted to a federal agency each month. I feel like I’ve been handed an incredible opportunity!

I always strive to approach my work with humility and respect when visiting sites, and I’ve found that being kind and professional contributes greatly to my success. This whistleblower reached out to me months after our initial engagement, citing their conscience and feeling comfortable enough to share information with me.

As a contractor, there’s uncertainty about whether I’ll be able to keep pursuing this project or if it will be handed over to federal authorities. My instinct is to continue digging, especially since the feds missed it initially, but ultimately, the decision isn’t up to me.

Regardless, I’m feeling great about this finding. It’s my first significant discovery, and I’m excited to see where it leads!
