I’m excited and a bit anxious to share that I’ll be starting as an Audit Graduate at RSM in Australia next year! I’ve heard that balancing work with studying for the CA will be intense, and I want to make sure I’m well-prepared.
I would love to hear from anyone who has experience in this area. Are there specific skills or knowledge I should prioritize in the lead-up to my start date? Here are a few things I’m considering:
- Should I familiarize myself with any particular Audit software?
- Are there advanced Excel techniques I should work on?
- Would it be beneficial to dive into CA materials now?
I have some background in Accounting, having worked with Xero and MYOB, but I lack experience in auditing. I’m concerned about managing both training and work once I begin.
