Is Citi a Good Place to Work?
I recently received a job offer from Citi that would pay me 40% more than my current job and offer a higher title. They have also invested a significant amount of money into the campus where I would be working, which seems like a positive sign.
After researching the company, I found many negative reviews about working at Citi. However, I have spoken to someone on the team I would be joining, and they described it as a good environment. There is also a concern about the possibility of being laid off. While I am aware that Glassdoor reviews should be taken with a grain of salt, my current company has a rating of 4.1 compared to Citi’s rating of 3.7. Currently, I do not worry about job security and have a lot of flexibility and support from my current managers.
Despite the negative reviews, Citi is considered one of the top companies in its industry, which could be beneficial for my resume. Additionally, the job offer includes better pay and benefits than my current job in almost every aspect.
