The Most Unusual Document Delivery: Share Your Stories!
In the world of client communications, we often encounter some rather unconventional methods for submitting documents. I’d love to hear about your experiences with document submissions that left you scratching your head.
Let me start with my own story: Once, I received a document from a client in a rather peculiar manner. They sent me a photo of a PDF displayed on their iPad, which they snapped using a Samsung phone, and then emailed that image to me. To top it off, we had to manually process the invoice from that photo, which was not an easy task.
Have you ever experienced something similar? Perhaps you’ve received a handwritten note, a scan that was upside down, or a file renamed to something as generic as “Image(345).jpg.” Whatever it is, I’m eager to hear your tales of the most illogical or bizarre document submissions you’ve encountered.
I’m currently gathering these stories to better understand the chaos that can arise during document exchanges. I’m not promoting any solutions yet—I simply want to know that I’m not alone in navigating these challenges. So, please share your experiences! Your stories can help shed light on the creative (and sometimes frustrating) ways clients communicate.
