Unconventional Document Delivery: Share Your Stories!
In the world of professional communication, we’ve all encountered some curious methods of receiving documents, particularly from clients. Today, I want to open the floor for sharing those unconventional (and often amusing) experiences.
Let me kick things off with one of the most perplexing instances I’ve faced. A client once sent me a photograph of a PDF displayed on their iPad, captured using a Samsung phone. They then proceeded to email that image to me. As you can imagine, we still had to manually process the information from that invoice, turning a relatively straightforward task into a bit of a headache.
Have you had your fair share of bizarre document submissions? Perhaps you’ve received handwritten notes, upside-down scans, or images with filenames like “Image(345).jpg.” Whatever the case may be, we’d love to hear your stories!
I’m collecting these anecdotes for a project aimed at streamlining document submissions and reducing the chaos often associated with this process. I’m not promoting anything here; I simply want to know that I’m not alone in this experience. So, please share your weirdest or most frustrating document delivery tales!
