The Most Unconventional Document Submissions: Share Your Stories!
In the world of client communication, we often encounter unexpected—and sometimes baffling—methods of document submission. We’ve all experienced those moments that make us question how someone could send a document in such an unusual way. Today, I’m inviting you to share your most bizarre encounters with document delivery from clients.
Allow me to kick things off with my own story. A client once sent me a snapshot of a PDF displayed on their iPad—captured with a Samsung phone—and then emailed that image to me. It was a peculiar experience, to say the least! Unfortunately, we still had to go through the tedious process of manually entering that invoice into our system.
Now, I’d love to hear about your experiences. Have you received handwritten notes that were nearly illegible? Or perhaps a document that was scanned upside down? What if the file names were something like “Image(345).jpg” instead of the actual document title? These odd submission methods are all too common, and I’m eager to compile these stories.
I’m currently working on a project aimed at alleviating some of the chaos surrounding document submissions, and sharing your experiences would greatly help. So, let’s commiserate together! What’s the most frustrating or peculiar document submission you’ve had to deal with? You’re not alone in this strange world of client communications!
