Seeking Insights on Enhancing a Software Tool for Accounting Firms

Over the past year, I have developed a software solution for a Dutch Accounting firm that enables them to efficiently manage invoices submitted by their clients. This tool, which can receive invoices through both mobile and web platforms, processes the data and seamlessly passes it on to the accountants.
Now, the firm has requested that I upgrade and enhance the system to better suit their needs. However, I am faced with a challenge: I currently lack direct access to the accountants who use the tool, which has made it difficult to gather user feedback and understand their requirements fully.
I am reaching out to the community for advice. From a bookkeeper’s or accountant’s standpoint, what features would you suggest integrating into the software? My goal is to improve the overall user experience for the Accounting team and ensure they can work more efficiently with the tool.
