Seeking Recommendations for Receipt and Invoice Scanning Tools for QuickBooks Integration

I’m on the hunt for an efficient expense management solution that can seamlessly scan and organize receipts and invoices in bulk. My ideal tool would allow me to upload documents through various methods—be it photos, email, or direct file uploads—and would automate the extraction of essential information, including:
- Vendor name
- Total amount plus taxes
- Invoice number
- Payment due date
- Relevant categories (like meals, software, travel) or account numbers
A key feature I’m looking for is the capability to batch export this data into QuickBooks. It would be fantastic if the tool could generate a spreadsheet compatible with QuickBooks for batch journal entry imports as well.
Although I’ve explored options like Dext, AutoEntry, and Hubdoc, which seem quite effective, they do come with a higher price tag. I’m curious if anyone has come across newer or less mainstream tools that excel in this area without breaking the bank.
