The Most Bizarre Document Submissions: Share Your Stories!
In the world of client relations, communication can sometimes take unexpected turns. Have you ever received a document in a way that left you scratching your head? It’s the kind of experience that makes you wonder about the creative methods clients can choose for sharing essential information.
For instance, I once had a client email me a photo of a PDF displayed on their iPad. Not only was the source device a bit unconventional, but they decided to capture this image using a Samsung phone! As a result, we were left with the task of manually processing that invoice. It was certainly a unique way to submit a document.
I’m curious to hear from you all. What’s the strangest or most frustrating document submission you’ve encountered? Have you dealt with handwritten notes, upside-down scans, or files named whimsically, such as “Image(345).jpg”?
I’m collecting these anecdotes while working on a project aimed at improving how documents are shared in our professional landscape. I’m not here to sell anything; I simply want to know that I’m not navigating this chaos alone! Let’s share our experiences and perhaps even find humor in the quirks of client communication.
