What’s the dumbest way you’ve ever received a document from a client?

Bizarre Document Delivery: Your Most Unusual Experiences

In the world of client communications, we often encounter a range of document submission methods—some efficient and others, well, quite perplexing. Each of us has likely experienced at least one unusual way of receiving paperwork that leaves us scratching our heads in disbelief.

To share an example from my own experience, I once received an invoice from a client in the most unconventional manner—through a photo of a PDF displayed on their iPad, but taken using their Samsung smartphone. To top it off, the photo was then emailed to me. This quirky submission ended up requiring us to process the invoice manually, which certainly added a layer of complexity to our workflow!

Now, I’m curious to hear your stories. What’s the strangest or most challenging method you’ve encountered for document submission? Have you come across handwritten notes, upside-down scans, or files mysteriously named “Image(345).jpg”? Let’s gather these amusing anecdotes as I work on a project aimed at overcoming these chaotic communication challenges.

Share your experiences below—after all, knowing that we’re not alone in this is half the battle!
