Direct Applications vs. Recruiting Agencies: Which Is the Better Path for Job Seekers?
Greetings, readers!
As I approach the completion of my Master’s degree in Business Analytics, graduating in August 2025, I find myself reflecting on my journey. With four years of experience in Accounting and Audit already under my belt, I am now preparing to transition into a full-time role within the Accounting or finance sectors. I’m also actively seeking opportunities that incorporate analytics.
In my pursuit of the most effective job search strategy, I have some questions I’d like to explore:
- Should I focus on applying directly to companies, or would it be more beneficial to partner with recruiting or staffing agencies?
- What specific advantages do recruiting agencies offer candidates like myself?
- I’ve come across well-known agencies such as Creative Financial Staffing and Robert Half. Are there any other reputable agencies anyone could recommend?
Additionally, I am open to the possibility of relocating, which I believe might enhance my job prospects.
I genuinely appreciate any insights or personal experiences you can share. Thank you in advance for your guidance!
