Embracing Freedom: Why I Choose Not to Own a Car and Pursue Remote Work

As my colleagues often inquire about my decision not to drive, I usually play it safe with a simple response: “I’m committed to being eco-friendly.” However, the truth runs much deeper. My real motivation is financial freedom. By not owning a car, I aim to save as much money as possible to launch my own business and achieve a fully remote lifestyle—one that is free from the constraints of hybrid work environments.

Pursuing my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license has been a transformative experience.
